I’d like to show the following icons: FB, Twitter, G+, LinkedIN.

I’ve been through the config, and chosen the appropriate services (step 1); chosen appropriate actions for each service (step 2); I’m now at step 3.

If I choose ‘display rectangular icons’, I have to reselect FT, Twitter and G+, and they all display correctly. I understand from a seperate help thread that this option does not allow me to display a LinkedIn icon. So I chose ‘Display the icons I selected above’. When I do this, no icons at all are displayed.

Currently the page I’ve mentioned above has the ‘rectangular icons’ displayed so no blank space is left.

Hm, that’s a bit strange. And you’re checking it on the single post pages (like https://blogs.salford.ac.uk/thinklab/second-mobilise-project-consortium-event-planned-for-kuala-lumpur-malaysia/), or only on the posts overview page (https://blogs.salford.ac.uk/thinklab/)?

Done now; I’ve added some ‘Text to show before icons’ – this IS showing, but no icons at all….

Could you please clear cache? By that, I mean…

– The browser cache, see https://www.solutionbay.com/solutions/dont-know-how-to-clear-the-cache-1
– Please also check if you have a cache plugin installed. If so, please disable it temporarily, and check if it’s ok now

Browser cache cleared; no WP cache plugin installed.
No difference.

We had a close look, but couldn’t find the issue. Something on your site is removing the HTML. It could be your theme, or plugins.

Could you please temporarily switch to a different theme to see if that fixes the issue?
