Can't set time

  • Hi there,

    i need to set WP time. It’s not a matter of UTC.
    Now to me it’s 07:24 pm, but WP shows 07:14 pm.

    How can I fix the right time?

  • You can have a look in ‘Settings >> General‘ for the time settings.

    I did, but I can only set UTC, not the exact minutes.

    Okay, in the general settings, in the time format section, check the ‘Custom‘ box. At the moment there is probably just ‘g:i a‘.

    g: Hour, 12-hour, without leading zeros

    i: Minutes, with leading zeros

    a: am, pm

    So for example, if you wanted to set it as, 10:58 pm, you would just write ‘10:58 pm‘.

    Hope this is what you want.

    Thanks, i tried, but it doesn’t fix the problem.

    The problem is that wordpress time is wrong, and i would like to fix it.

    Now, while i’m writing, my watch says 20:43.
    WP says 20:33, and i would like to fix it.

    All I can recommend is you try to find a ‘WordPress’ plugin that helps you out with this, not sure if this one is right, but you can try it. Click here for it.

    If it doesn’t work for you, have a look around for some more ‘WordPress’ time zone plugins, there may be one out there that is just what you need.
