• I’m trying to set up a contact me form on my blog,
    https://yourcatcareguide.com/wordpress/

I downloaded and installed the plug-in Secure and Accessible PHP Contact Form. It seems to work great, but when I send myself test emails, they never arrive. I’ve talked to the author of the plug-in, and he said to contact my web hosting service. I called them and she said I needed to turn on a “send mail” feature in wordpress. How do I do this?

    Thanks for your help.

  • There is no such “send mail” feature in wordpress, and by the way it’s sendmail. What she was referring to was the fact that the way their servers are setup they don’t allow the php mail function which is probably what that plugin is using.

Oh. So this means I can’t have a contact me page then? Or do I have to use another plug-in?

Thanks for your quick response. I’ve been fighting with this all day.

Have a look at this plugin. It might work for you.

    Hi Jeremy,

Thanks for your suggestion. I downloaded the plugin and activated it, and went to the email options page. No matter what I put in, the test mail doesn’t go through. I’ve wasted almost an entire day on this. I guess people will just have to make a comment to contact me!

    Thanks for your help, though.
