Can’t select custom post type

Hi

I wanted to add some dummy posts for a custom post type, but my CPT is not appearing on your “posts” screen so I can’t select it. I can see a field “Post Type” and in it I can just see “posts” as an option. If I click into the field, I see “pages” as a second option, but my CPT is nowhere. Is there something else I need to do, or maybe something about my CPT that is wrong?
