    Hello jaxnnux,

    “the easymedia button to access the gallery” – as far as we understand, you are trying to find the gallery creation in the WordPress standard gallery. It is wrong.
    If you want to add the gallery on the standard page or post, then you should add the gallery shortcode on this page.
    You will find the shortcode on the gallery edit page.
