Can't seem to select the right selector?

Hi there,
I’m building a development site on GoDaddy, using the Thesis 1.85 theme.

I tried the selectors:
.menu-menu1-container
#menu-menu1
#menu-menu1.menuAnd I chose a max-width of 350px. I flushed the cache, but I am not seeing any responsiveness on my iPhone 5s.
Not sure which step I am going wrong? Please help! And thanks in advance.
