can't seem to save % of the total option

    I just discovered your plugin and thought it would be great for an upcoming reunion but I’m having a small problem. We want to pass along the PayPal fees to the person signing up, so I set the amount at our per-head fee for the BBQ, and then used the postal charge and processing charge fields for the fees. I called the Processing Charge the PayPal transaction fee and set that to the fixed amount (for us, it’s $0.30). Then I called the postal charge the PayPal fee, and ried to set it to the 2.9% of the total (which is what we have to pay) but every time I save the settings, it reverts to the fixed amount option. The text for those fields shows in the form, but no numbers are displayed. I have a picture you can see but I’ve been playing with it elsewhere before I use it on that site. Here’s the screen shot:

    That seemed like a great idea to me but if it’s not going to work that way, it would be great to know!

    Hi,
    The label only displays the label text not the amount or the percentage. The reason being there are so many different ways people want to format the message.

    All you need to do is change the labels to: ‘The Paypal fee is 2.9%’ and ‘The transaction fee is $0.30’.

    The plugin will do the rest for you.

    Thanks for getting back to me, aerin.
    But what I’m getting at is that I’d select that field, save the settings, and it would always return to the fixed fee – I couldn’t seem to save that option the way I wanted. No matter what I tried while I was trying things out, the label text always showed, but not the amount, either. I just assumed I’d missed something completely.

    Most strange,

    I’ve just tested this and it worked on my test site and the plugins site so struggling a bit to think of any suggestions as I can’t replicate the problem.

    Can you create a new form and see if that works. Or set me up as an admin so I can look at the saved data.

    Found it!

    It worked if both were percentage or bot fixed but not if they were different. I’ve now fixed the bug so if you email me (via https://quick-plugin.com) I will send you an update to test

    Robin and I have been emailing and the bug seems to be fixed. Version 3.5.2 uploaded
