    Hi,

In the form in link I’m trying to create a price descriptif so that I can later (after testing), replace the calculation fields that show the prices by the html lines.

Any idea why the {number} fields don’t show the result in the html?

(I appreciate if you see any better way to do this)

    Thanks

    Rodrigo

    Hi @nomadarod

    I hope you’re well today!

I started with adding a HTML and number field to a basic form on my test site and that worked fine – number is showing up in HTML as expected.

I think I’m either missing the point here or it’s some issue specific to the form or site in question so i tried to see that on the form on your page but I’m not quite sure which exact location/place on the form do you mean.

Could you, please, share a screenshot showing the issue (or the exact place to look at on the form)?

Would you also share the form itself?

    To do so:

    – go to the “Forminator -> Forms” page and click on a little “gear” icon next to the form in question
    – select “Export” option
    – copy given code and paste it at https://pastebin.com
    – post a link to that created paste in your response below.

    Best regards,
    Adam

    Hi,

I attributed a calculation field to each number field and added the calculation fields to the html. I wonder if it had to be done this way or if number fields should display the number chosen when inserted in a html field?

    Best regards

    Hi @nomadarod,

Thanks for sharing the export. I could notice the issue with the given form, however, when I try to replicate the issue by creating a new field and with an exact setting for the number fields ie for number-1 and number-2 it works fine.

Could you please check whether you could replicate the same issue, if you delete the existing number-1 and number-2 fields and re-add a new field again?

Please do let us know how that goes, so that we could check further if needed.

    Kind Regards,

    Nithin

    Hi Nithin,

I started to proceed as you told me but quickly I realized how it would be messy to recreate all the logic dependencies between fields. So I’ll leave it like this for now as it is working and check it later.

    Thank you for being there,

    Hello Rodrigo,

After some further testing, I’ve found there’s an issue related to the position of the hidden {calculation-16} field.

If it’s in the same row with the {number-1} and {number-2} fields, then the subsequent HTML fields can’t properly display these numbers.

I’ll be checking this with the developers, and we’ll update you when there’s further feedback from them. Meanwhile, one workaround is to uncheck “Hidden” option for the {calculation-16} field on the Settings tab, or you can just move to a separate row:

Try to do the same with other number fields if you add them on the same row with hidden calculation fields. Let us know if there’s still any issue!

    Hi Dmytro,

It worked changing the number field to a different row. Thanks!!

    Hi,

I came in search of this thread because I suddenly have an issue with this {calculation-16} field again. If I fill the {number-2} then the {calculation-16} exists, if I only fill the {number-1] field, then the calculation is not taken into account and the price shown in the form is different from the price sent to Stripe. Which is deterring the users from submitting the form.

All the conditions seem correct. Can you please help me find the issue?

    Thanks

    Rod

I could solve the issue for now, by removing the “required” to both number fields to which the calculation was dependent.

But now I have another issue, that the users can send a form with 0€ in the calculations because no number of “participants” needs to be selected. Is there a way to activate the “Continue” button only if certain conditions exist, and with an error message?

    thanks again
