can't seem to get posts page to show up again

  • hi there, i have a wordpress blog/website that i’m working on. at one point, the blog portion of it was working correctly (https://susanbabson.com/blog-4/) in that there was a main page with the latest posts and then you could click on them to isolate and/or comment on them.

    but then i added in the static homepage and under settings/reading i made the adjustment to “front page displays: static page and then i selected “home” for my homepage template. so, that’s in the right place but it knocked my main blog page with posts out.

    or could this be a permalink issue? any advice is appreciated, i’m thinking there’s something that i’m not quite understanding. does this have to do with “the loop”?

    hi there… i fixed it! the homepage was named “home.php” which was conflicting with the “index.php” page — i should know that by now. go figure. anyway, maybe that will help you ??
