Can’t seem to display the caption in the lightbox?

  • I tried several things, but I can’t seem to be able to display image caption in the lightbox? Things I tried:

    • put the same title string in all relevant fields (title, caption, label, description) in the gallery entry
    • did the same via media library
    • did the same for respective attachment pages
    • tried both choices in the “Caption source” setting in Meow Lightbox settings

    Nothing worked!

    What does work is showing the EXIF title, but I really don’t want to remaster and reupload all images that currently have serial EXIF titles from the camera.
