• Recently we changed the host for our website. After several problems, the site is finally again visible… except on my own pc! Also, I can not enter WordPress anymore. In both cases I get the message “Site Currently Unavailable”. I refreshed the browser, but no luck. Our new host says the problem has to do with my pc. I guess this is so, since the website can be viewed on other devices, it’s just strange it happened on the day the subscribtion with the previous host ended.
Can anyone please tell me what I could do, so I could see our website and be able to enter WordPress, so I can change the pages when I want to?
    Many thanks in advance.

  • Probably the DNS entries of the domain were also adjusted in the course of the move and your PC still has the old information available that points to the old hosting. How you clean them up depends on your local operating system and your Internet access and is a bit beyond the scope of WordPress support here.

For Windows 11 there are some tips here: https://www.makeuseof.com/flush-dns-cache-windows-11/

If that’s not enough, then it could be your internet access. Talk to your internet service provider if necessary.

    Hello @marckie73

Sometimes cache can be very aggressive and takes longer to clear off, If you cannot access the site from incognito mode or from another browser, you might need to flush your DNS cache on your computer – restart your machine and internet device and try again.

    I hope this help?

Thank you both for your reply. Unfortunately, the problem has not been solved.
Only this website made in WordPress is not visible on my own pc. I moved two other websites which were not made in WordPress to the same host, and I don’t have any problems with those.
