Can’t see video

    Hi, how to show video on product page?
    I can see that just when I use default product page type. Can’t see that when I choose tabbed or shop type. I would expected it will be in the tool for setting up of layout for Custom Product Page but nothing.
    If it isn’t possible in admin, can I edit template somehow? Would prefer the way as other plugins – to copy the template files into the /mytemplate folder and then edit – to avoid overwritting after plugin update..
    It is very important to get there the video, that’s why I bought the plugin.

  • Hi Tomas,

    Currently you can display the videos on your product pages only if you are using the “Tabbed Product Page” or “Shop Style Product Page”. This would require custom work and we look forward to implement this in the future updates.

    Thanks for quick answer, very appreciate it. But that’s what I am writting. I can’t see that even on Tabbed or Shop product page. In your manual you writting it should be in the Additional Information tab but it isn’t. I can see the video only with Default Product Page layout.

    It seems to be some error that the videos aren’t being displayed. Alternatively, you could create Custom field to display the videos. Navigate to the “Custom Fields” tab and add anew Custom Field of type “Short text”. You could add Youtube Embed code in this Custom field from the “Products” tab and selecting your product.

    Now you could select “Custom Fields” from “Product Page Elements (Additional Info)” field in the “Basic” area of the “Options” tab and deselect the “Videos” option.
