Can't see the slider buttons and showing recent posts

1. I’m using the TwentyEleven duster theme and am working with showcase at the moment. I created a featured posts page, set that as my main page when selecting Static under Settings –> Reading, and then selected 5 posts as stickies to be featured here.

While I know that only the most recent sticky is shown by the slider, my problem is that I don’t have those “circles” or slider buttons appearing at the top right like they are supposed to for multiple stickies!

Anyone know what the problem could be here?

2. The other problem I see is that below these featured posts, I’d like for all of the site’s recent blog posts to be shown in infinite scroll style and not just select how many posts I’d like shown. If this is not possible, then how do I make it so that I have a page with all of our recent posts (similar to how the default TwentyEleven theme is without the showcase template)?

Btw, I don’t know any coding! So I need a simple way to do this hopefully…
