• Hi there. This is a great plugin but I can’t use it when I’m on an ipad or my galaxy s4. I visit m site on any of these mobile platforms and the area where the login should be us just black. I can’t zoom or move the screen to find it either. So my customers essentially can’t login through any mobile platforms. Do you have any suggestions?

  • I was just coming to find out the exact same thing. Worked fine for a long time now won’t show up on mobile. Will show up on my ipad if it’s held landscape vs portrait. Won’t show on mobile phones or in browser window narrower than 783px. I checked in Chrome, Firefox and Safari. I have mobile users that can no longer access paid content. Any ideas?

I am experiencing the same problem

    Hello,

Is there any screenshot please? I create new issue about this.

    I’ll work on it.

    Many thanks for plugin.

doesn’t show on portrait and messes up most themes

It would be truly excellent if some solution could be found!

Any update on this would be most welcome.

    Can it be done ?

I think (could be incorrect) that this may have something to do with Bootstrap.

Just talking about portrait mode in tablets

This problem (admin-bar-login-not showing up in window narrower than 783px) can be experienced with some of their themes – eg Vantage, ClassiPress, JobRoller

    Hello,

I didn’t check with App Themes.

Because, original code written by scribu when he works at App Themes. Currently I’m maintainer of this plugin.

Thanks for feedbacks. I know mobile compatibility is important point as well, but want to keep this plugin simple.

WordPress core css files affect #wpadminbar element’s visibility. Maybe you need to add some custom css to your themes.

    Thanks.

    Hello,

I have also been fighting with this issue of the admin bar login plugin not working with current the wordpress dynamic admin bar. Any time the display size shrinks all content disappears, mobile or not.

After taking 2 days to look over the back end of things, I can honestly say that it’s going to take more than a simple CSS call to get this working while *not* breaking the minimization that WordPress has implemented.

I’d like to put a vote in to have this plugin updated to take advantage of/use the minimization as it affects 1/2 screen desktop browsers as well as mobiles.

Unfortunately, as it stands, I’m going to have to turn this off and use a different, widget based login system until it can be updated. Annoying since I really like this plugin, but that’s the way it bounces.
