    Using Dark Mode for A. theme version 1.0 on WordPress version 5.8.

    When I edit an existing post or make a new post, the text is automatically white on a white background in the post editor. I can change the colors of either the text or the background in the text block, in order to see what I’m typing, but that breaks the layout of everything when the post is published.

    I temporarily switched to the 2019 theme, and the text reappeared in the post editor. Is there a setting I’m missing somewhere so I can just see the text like I normally would be able to in the post editor?

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi Shawn,

    I just tested with a vanilla install of the latest versions of WordPress, Astra, and Dark Mode for A. in both the classic editor and the block editor and was not able to recreate this issue, so I’m not sure why that would happen.

    Are you doing anything else custom in your child theme?

    I wonder if the following would help:

    add_theme_support( 'dark-editor-style' );

    Thanks

    Hi Bryan,

    No customizations had been made to the theme. Regardless, the site owner decided to try a different theme.

    Thanks for taking a look!
