    Hello,

For one of my custom roles, I want to grant (not block) access to theTable Press plugin menu.

I have confirmed that this role has the capability to edit tablepress tables (https://imgur.com/a/UkNgued) and have also done this via Custom capabilities. Also, when I click “Admin Menu” I’m not seeing Table Press there, and when I login using this role, I still am not seeing the Table Press menu.

Another thing I don’t understand is when I look at Admin Menu for this role, I’m not seeing ANY checked boxes, which I don’t understand because the plugin IS working to block other admin menus.

    Thanks for any help.

Nevermind. The problem was with the Table Press plugin itself and I was able to solve it. Thanks again for this terrific user role plugin.

Anyone who is running into this issue with Table Press should follow the instructions here.

Once you reset the Table Press db version to 0 in your site’s options screen and click save, you can then go into User Role Editor, down to “Custom Capabilities” and select all the tablepress_* options and then Update for that roll. The Table Press admin menu should then appear for that role’s users.
