• Ive tried updating the number of subscribers to view per page in the appearance section and I still don’t see anything. Have had the plugin for quite a long time with no difficulty but recently switched over to Prophoto for my blog (in case that might be where the problem is). THANK YOU!!!

    Your posts raises too many questions to be able to offer any meaningful advice:

    What is Prophoto?
    What do you see on the Subscribers page? please describe or provide a screen shot.
    When you’ve tried changing the number of subscribers per page – did you save the page rather than just changing the number? What is the setting right now? What else have you tried?

    Thanks Mattyrob!

    When I click on Subscribers the page is completely blank except for a white field at the top telling me I can upgrade my Yoast plugin. When I changed to 50 per page, I hit submit. Also tried update. And it still says 50.

    I still have the subscribers somewhere because when I go to “send an email” it tells me that I have 44 public users. So they are there somewhere ??

    Prophoto is just a wordpress-based theme, basically. Very popular with photographers.

    I’m not sure what else to try, so I very appreciate your input!!!
    Thanks!

    A blank screen usually means some sort of fatal PHP error has occurred on the page, can you ccess error logs and see anything in there?

    Thank you mattyrob. Followed up with both Bluehost and Prophoto. It seems there’s a file missing somewhere in my plugin. I’m guessing at some point when I was updating. In any case, my question is if I just re-install the plugin will I lose my list of subscribers??
    Appreciate your help~

    @khunter

    If you unsinstall the plugin via the WordPress admin page you will lose data. Erase and reinstall by using FTP and you’ll be fine.

    Thanks for all your help. In the process of doing the above, I read that the plugin is now under new management and subscribers have to be willing to share their info. Is this correct? Just want to double check. Many thanks~

    @khunter

    No, it isn’t at the moment. About 6 months ago all of that code was stripped out as it was breaching the WordPress plugin guidelines.

    At the moment I’m not sure what the long term plan is for Subscribe2.

    ah! well that’s good news for me for now anyway – not comfortable with asking subscribers to share info. Is there still a free version? I see references to it but only see the paid one to download.
    and thanks again – really appreciate your responses!!
