• Hi there! I am in the process right now of creating two new pages for my company’s website. The pages look good in preview but don’t show up in the pages section of applications > menu when I want to add to a new drop down or show up in the create boxes section so I can update sidebar photos. The pages aren’t published yet and are still in draft mode. The one is a child of another page and the other is a stand alone, but neither show up for these types of editing.

There has to be something I am missing in all of this. Can someone please provide some insight on how to make these pages view-able for menu and box creation? I’m sure it is something super simple, but as a first timer on WordPress, I’m stumped.

    Thanks in advance!

  • In the past when this has happened to me it was because the pages were in draft mode. I would try to take one of the pages out of draft mode and see if it shows up in your menu options. If a page is in draft, it is not published and not visible to the public.

    Hope this helps!

Is there a way I can take it out of draft where it won’t be seen by the public? The page isn’t ready to be live quiet yet…the product launch hasn’t occurred.

    Thanks for the help!
