Cant see Option to Extend Taxonomies

To extend Taxonomies, you’ll need to enable Table Storage, because to add fields to Taxonomies, Table Storage must be enabled and that’s the only feature we offer when you extend a taxonomy. You’ll find it at Pods Admin > Components > Table Storage

I couldn’t find this by my myself through the admin interface.
I would suggest to add a small note directly on the “pods-add-new” module, as well as updating the How to Extend a Taxonomy with Custom Fields documentation.

Thanks for the suggestion, Dan. We’ll get it added to the Features/Issues list.

I’d like to have us add it to the text in the add new screen, sounds like a grand idea to help.

We could add text for table storage / advanced content types too, since they’re both optional.

Perhaps we could add a little box below the wizard box with information about other optional components related to the creation/extension of content types with Pods. If they are enabled, don’t show the text, if not, show the text (maybe even offer a ‘dismiss’)
