    Hi,

We’ve activated google reviews in our merchant account and installed this plugin, however Google is reporting no data still.

Do you have any idea why this may be the case? – Merchant ID in the form is definitely correct.

I also have a question on the GTIN field. We sell personalised items (Made to order) and therefore don’t have GTIN’s. Google doesn’t require GTINs for the categories we are selling in. I don’t actually even see a _gtin field in the list so have just had to select _sku (which I also don’t have, I pass post_id into google merchant centre).

Is there no way to simply not send a GTIN or could the above be having an influence on why Google isn’t reporting it being active?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Just to also add; badge integration does work (although I want to disable it until I get some actual reviews). I can see that code in the src, but I can’t see any src code for the core opt-in integration.

Where exactly should I see this? – from the instructions it sounded like it should only exist on the /checkout/order-received page?

Yes, you’re correct that the opt-in is only on the order received page.

The GTIN field should have have defaulted to “_gtin” which is the meta field that this plugin registers.

I believe that if you leave it default, then GTIN data is not sent, but I will double-check that when I get a chance.

    Thanks @natekinkead

I don’t have a _gtin field in the drop down and the order received page isn’t showing the opt-in code at all (I’ve checked multiple browsers etc).

I don’t know if it’s related to the _gtin or a different issue but would be nice to have this working. Everything ‘seems’ to be setup ok in terms of merchant ID and activating the functionality on google side

The gtin field is optional, and shouldn’t affect whether or not the opt-in popup shows. Make sure you’re using the default WooCommerce thank you page (/order-received).

    Hi Nate,

Yeah 4 weeks since installing and still having this issue. I am using the standard thank you page (https://www.oddbulls.co.uk/checkout/order-received)

However, the code simply doesn’t appear and I am still none the wiser as to why not ??

Is there any actual way to debug the issue?

    @miketurnermk,

That doesn’t look like the standard WooCommerce thank you page. It’s the same base URL, but usually, the WooCommerce thank you page has an order ID and a token in the URL.

When that is present, the thank you page shows the whole order receipt. That’s what our plugin is hooking into.

Could you send the URL of an actual thank you page that you landed on after submitting a real order?

Did you ever figure that out?

Also, we released version 2.2 which allows you to disable GTIN

Marking this resolved after no follow-up.
