• I upgraded to 2.5 and now the plugins admin screen only shows me the 1st 5 plugins listed alphabetically. Plugin directory permission is 777. All 10 plugins show up in “Plugin editor”. I tried deleting a single plugin like “hello.php”, but that just made the next one alphabetically show up, the number of plugins shown always stays at 5. I only get to see plugins with names beginning with the letters “A-L”. Unable to activate plugins like as “Wassup”, “Nextgen-gallery”, “simple tags”, and “wp-contact-form” because I can’t see them.

This problem occurred again after I upgraded to WordPress 2.5.1. There seems to some indexing issue here. Right after upgrade, plugins admin screen show only 5 plugins. Then after about 4 hours, all plugins show up.
My wordpress install is in a separate directory from the blog, in case this is relevant.
