Can’t see metadata

    Hi there,

    Have been using your Post Meta plugin for ages and just discovered this one as well. I installed it instead of the Post Meta plugin but I can’t see the meta boxes anywhere? They’re not hidden via Screen Options, I have full admin user rights, and I tried with both a processing and an on-hold order in case that makes a difference. I don’t have any issues seeing the meta data when using your Post Meta plugin.

    Also – could you let me know what the difference between the two plugins is?

    Are you using an older version of WooCommerce? Orders are no longer post types, so the JSM Show Port Metadata plugin will no longer work on WooCommerce Order pages (as orders are no longer “post” objects).

    Sorry my issue was the other way around – the WC Meta plugin didn’t show WC meta but I guess that might be because HPOS isn’t enabled on the site yet as there are still some incompatible plugins. I’m assuming that’s the difference (and reason for) the two plugins?

    That’s correct – HPOS does not use WordPress post objects, therefore a plugin showing post metadata on the order page would not work (as the order is no longer a post object).
