On activate, the plugin should create a page called “Knowledgebase” and on that page should add the shortcode [kbe_knowledgebase] and assign the page template “KBE”.

Can you check it’s done those things?

I’m also having this issue; when checking the Knowledgebase page there is no page template named “KBE” available.

The plugin works by copying css and template files into your active theme on activation. If the KBE template is unavailable, it means it did not copy those files in correctly. Reasons for that might be a permission issue (your theme directory may not be writable), or perhaps you’ve changed themes, or some other reason.

Whatever the reason, you can easily solve the problem by manually copying the relevant files from the plugin, into your active theme folder. The files you want are in wp-content/plugins/wp-knowledgebase/template

I’d like to add that once you have manually uploaded the template file, you might have to deactivate and re activate the plugin for the template changes to take effect.

I had to do this on the twenty twelve theme.
