When activating Dokan Lite, the media library won’t show any images in list view (the grid view is working correctly though). I need the listing view to optimize my images.

My images were uploaded with WP All Import, so I guess it would have been ok if had uploaded the images directly in WordPress with my admin user account, because the plugin restricts users to their own images only. But it should not be the case in the back end and for site administrators.

I ended up adding a “!is_admin()” condition to the “hide_others_uploads” function in the file “includes/class-core.php”. I can now access the library listing, but it’s a temporary solution, I am aware that it’s not great practice to modify plugins directly. Can you add a fix to this issue in the next release? And if a release is not planned soon, can you give me another workaround to this issue?

    Thanks!

  • Hello @xaome,

Thanks for your ticket. I have checked and found that Media library is working both is listing and grid when Dokan is activated. Now, as your images were uploaded through a third party plugin for that reason, it might be creating a problem. So, we are unable to solve the issue if it is not occurring with the default media library.
    Can you please confirm me?

Sorry, just found out that the notification went directly in spam folder!

The images were uploaded with a third party plugin (WP All Import), but I am still using the default WordPress media library. As an administrator, I should be able to see all images both in listing and grid views in the back end. I actually only see those I uploaded with my account.

    Thanks!

    Hi Nazmul,

Thanks for creating such a fantastic plugin. I am facing just one issue with it, while uploading images from the frontend of vendor dashboard the popup doesn’t work properly.
Can you please fix the problem?

    Thanks!
