    The attachment information is only available in the JSON tab (a filename only). But there is not attachment details in on the HTML tab or in the list table. The “Display Attachments” setting is enabled.

    I also wonder, does this plugin store attachment contents or just file names?

    Thanks for reaching out to us and we apologise for the confusion.

    WP Mail Logging doesn’t store attachment files. Only file names. The “Display Attachments” setting is to just show/hide the attachments column in the email logs table, which will only display the file name.

    Just for reference, depending on the plugin/action you are using to send the email attachment, you may be able to see the attachment in the email body. For example, with WPForms, the attachment is sent as an uploaded file link that is hosted on the sender’s website and can be seen when viewing the log content, but doesn’t appear in the “attachment field”.

    Hello there, is it possible attachments types XLS, TXT are not visible in the attachments column and in HTML tab? It seems there was no attachment but it got delivered right. PDFs are visible in bot column and HTML tab.

    Our developers confirmed that we are not restricting those or any other file types in WP Mail Logging: https://a.supportally.com/i/FY6YtB

    As I mentioned to Max, the way in which attachments are displayed depends on the plugin/action you are using to send the email attachment.

    I see, thank you @dakeg for quick response. It seems Contact Form 7 is the culprit.

    I had the same problem.
    I found in source (WPML_Attachment.php) that email attachments must be in WordPress uploads folder.

    That is correct, email attachments that aren’t within the body should alternatively be saved in the WordPress?/wp-content/uploads?folder to be logged correctly.

    Depending on what plugin you used to send the email, they are most likely storing attachments in a different location.
