Can't see any members

I have a clean install of WP 4.0 with only Buddypress and Rendez Vous installed, have also tried all 3 standard themes, when I am the only member and I try and create a Rendez Vous under ‘who’ tab is says no members found, as expected, but as soon as I create more accounts the ‘who’ page is empty except for 3 greyed out buttons, PReV NEXT & SAVE with no members shown, any ideas?
