Hello. I have been using Google Adsense a few months ago without problems, however, I had disabled my Auto ads and reactivated it yesterday with the same settings. I had still Google Site Kit installed so I assumed the code for Adsense is still active for my site. I even found the same ca-pub number code from Site Kit I assume in my code.
My site is ready and my auto ads are enabled.
It has been 24 hours since I activated Auto Ads for all pages except for my homepage (I excluded that one even in the past, I kept the settings).

It’s not working. My preview of an article on my site in Google Adsense is showing 8 ads but there is a red button with “Get Code”. Does this mean there is no legit Adsense code on my site? I am really confused. I have Adsense connected with Site Kit on WP.

    Thanks

Thanks for reaching out. From inspecting your site I do encounter ads, although inconsistent.

I can also see the ad code placed on your site via Site Kit, confirming a successful snippet placement.

While we’re limited to Site Kit support please check these additional settings if not already visited:

    1. Choose the ad load for your Auto ads – you can try and increase this to display more ads
    2. Remove Auto ads from an area of your site. It sounds like you’ve already used the Auto ads preview, just ensure you don’t have any restricted areas.
    3. Check your selected Ad formats to ensure all formats are available

If you find after checking all the above that no ads are appearing you can ask the AdSense product experts at the official Help Center and see if they can identify any aspect of your site that requires attention, we can only assist with Site Kit related queries here unfortunately.

It’s not working. My preview of an article on my site in Google Adsense is showing 8 ads but there is a red button with “Get Code”.

You can disregard this “Get code” feature, as you already have the required Auto ads code placed.

Let us know how you get on, or if you have any questions on the above.

    Thank you a lot.

I am not sure why it’s inconsistent, but now I also inserted one manual ad and it’s working fine. The Google Adsense preview is also showing ads in places where they normally would be.

I checked the additional settings and they are all set up correctly. Is it possible that this will fix itself without my interference since it has been around 24 hours since I activated auto ads? Can it be caused by some learning behavior of the best placement?

I can’t be sure. While I suspect it’s just a matter of waiting a while longer if you disabled Auto ads and then enabled once again the AdSense product experts would be able to provide better in formation on this than we can here.

That’s also a good idea to implement manually inserted ads in the meantime. Some plugins such as Advanced Ads or AdInserter have options to render single ad units across your site. This don’t impact Site Kit reporting, you can keep the Site Kit placed Auto ads snippet placed on your site.
