Can’t see a newly created page

  • Currently, I can write a new page, save it, and it’ll say the page has been created/saved. It shows up in my Manage>>Pages section; I can edit it, but if I try to view it, it gaves me a 404 and says the request URL cannot be found.

    I see that URL off my front page goes to https://mysite.com/pagename/. So, should I see any thing in my site’s directory structure or anything like that? At one point, when I first installed WP, I know I had an “About” page that was there by default, but when I tried to edit that, save it, and view it, I couldn’t view it anymore.

    No clue what’s going on!
