I’m using the latest version of WP, and whenever I try to search for a plugin via the dashboard, it keeps coming up with an error message, and that if the problem persists I should post here.

Never had this problem with WP, and it’s very frustrating.

Is it a new installation of WP? I would try to re-install the latest version of WP. You can do this via your dashboard.

I also have this problem. When I try to search for a plugin using /wp-admin/plugin-install.php I get an error saying that I can’t connect. This happens when I hit “Search Plugins”

An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.

    Try again

(I am using the latest stable WP – 3.5.1)

Nevermind ?? I think that happened because of the CHMOD on some files. It’s fixed now.
