• Hi, Stas.

I really appreciate this plugin, thank you for such god job.

I think I found an error that you can fix in next upgrades. See… I was looking for a “tag” and a “category” at the same time when I noticed the search bar didn’t show any result.

The problem seems to be the following: When you type a word, and it is found in some field of the Database, the second (and then) word must to be in the same field. Otherwise the search will not find any results.

    Examples:

Tags: Red, Blue, Medium, Large, Small
    Category: T-shirt
    Title: Spiderman TS all sizes

If you look for “Spiderman TS” — you will find this product: Good!
If you look for: “Red Blue” — you will not have any results.
The same for: “Red T-shirt” — you will not have any results.
Or: “Spiderman T-shirt” — you will not have any results.

Is there any way to fix it??? It will very appreciated.
    kind regards, Пока!

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.
I understand what you mean. Actually it’s not a bug, the plugin do not separate words in a search string.
But yeah, this feature can be implemented in the next release.
I’l add an option to plugin settings, so you could select whether use this feature or not.

    Best Regards

    Hi there,

Now available a fresh release of the plugin with Fuzzy search (multiple words) feature.
You can update the plugin and activate the feature in ‘General’ tab -> ‘Fuzzy Search’ option.

    Best regards
    Stanislav

Hello, thank you but we still have a big issue. I uploaded the new 1.4.0 version. and checked the fuzzy search, nice I like it.

I have a custom search widget setup to only search in “Search in Products” and through “Product Tags”.

Now when I do a search for “superhero” I get what is to be expected but when I do a search for “superhero party” I get search results for every listing with the word “party” in the title and not the listing im looking for with the superhero word.

This is the product tags I am using for this listing.
batman, birthday invitation, boys, party, superhero, superman

So in my mind if I was to search “superhero party” because those 2 product tags are in there I would at least get this listing but it does not.

Getting closer thank you a bunch for the support on this awesome plugin.
