Can’t schedule Private publishing

I have a post that is set as Private, I have tried a couple things:

First, I tried Revisionizing the private post, making changes, setting the visibility as Private, and setting its publish date into the future.

After the set publish time, the edits from the Revisionized post did not overwrite the original as expected.

Next, I tried Revisionizing the private post, making changes, setting visibility to Public, and setting its publish date into the future.

After the set publish time, the post was not made Public and the edits from the Revisionized post did not overwrite the original as expected.

I have been able to successfully schedule publishing of Revisionized posts for Public posts.

I am testing with basic Post type for this.

Hope this helps identify a use case. Maybe Revisionized isn’t meant to deal with Private posts yet?
