Can't schedule differend end times for multiple-day events

I recently installed the Expresso Plugin to handle event listings and registrations for seminars. It appears that you can only have multiple day events if the event starts and ends at the same time every day. For example, if the event is 3 days, March 1-3, it won’t let you list a different time for the last day — such as ending at noon (a very common scenario). All days must start and end at the same time. This seems crazy… such an obvious requirement of an event registration application. Does anyone have any experience with this plug in? Am I misunderstanding how it works? How do I let people sign up for a multiple-day event that ends early the last day?
