Can’t save setting ‘_self’

  • Hi,
    First, thank you for a very nice and useful plugin!
    I want the users to open the read more link in the same window. There is an option ‘_self’. But unfortunately it’s not possible to save this. It just jumps back to ‘_blank’. Could you please help?

    Hi,

    Most probably you’re having some jQuery issues in the WP admin that prevents that. Please use browser console to to check any JS errors.

    Thank you for your answer!
    I checked the console but there are no errors.
    Do you have any idea of anything else that could cause this issue?
    The other options can be saved without any problem, it’s only the “_self” option which is not possible to save.

    Not really – this is a very basic radio input, there is really nothing to break (checked again).

    Something might be intercepting your saving process – we’ve seen some “security” plugins doing strange things with saving, like changing values, etc.
