• Love your plugin so far, I’ve tried almost every other one, and none of them ever did all that I needed. Your’s is very close to that goal of letting me add all the metadata that I need. However, I can’t save the meta for products.

I have a review post that I am trying to fill out the metadata. The first time I tried to put Article, Product, and Review in and couldn’t save anything. Try again, this time put just article and save. then added product to it, saved, but when I went to add the review info, the product info was gone. Saved the review info, saved and then tried to enter the product info again. Still no luck.

I also can’t save the US as my country on the main settings page.

Also, the rating box only takes whole numbers? The same thing with the price field?

When I validate what I’ve already put in, Google throws a warning because there’s a empty “Customer Service” field. I don’t have a phone # to be reached at, so I haven’t filled that field out.

    Hello,
I checked the functionality after got your request. But in product meta I can save no issue here. Make sure you fill all required fields.

    Yes country save fixed now.

As Google rule you need to fill required fields I mark red star (*) the required otherwise it give error when you test it.

Let me know if still error.

    Thanks

I’ve done more testing with it, so far here’s what I’ve found:

If I fill in the review body or page description boxes the plugin will usually not save any of the filled boxes. I can do it piecemeal and save them that way. (fill 3 fields, save, repeat).

Usually if I can complete a type and it saves successfully, it won’t be removed when I save. It has happened where filling out the Product data has caused me to have to fill out the review information again.

This is frustrating, because your plugin is the closest thing I’ve found yet that combines ease of data entry and covers the range of items I might need to tag. Is it possible to make it pull things like the title and description from the post/page?

Thanks so much for this feedback, we are committed to making this the best plugin of it kind, mostly because we will be using on hundreds of client sites.

I think we can fix this one in a couple days. Anything else buggy so far?

On the auto pulling..not sure on that yet. We are making a list of potential premium type features, but that is a good idea and we will look in to it.

For now, we will try to quickly fix those items you mentioned above.

Please re-install the latest version I tested different way it is working. Please make sure all required fields are filled the logo field should be url otherwise data don’t save.

    Hello Cavor,
Can you please tell me which meta fields you are using and when data lost?

    Thanks

I use Event meta with name, location name, location adress and start date fields. I don’t use price, price currency and url fields.

I have the same problem – it’s not working for Article meta, the plugin does not save any info…
Another problem is that the plugin doesn’t work with custom post types…I have several types for which I would need it…

Funny, you’re the third developer this week that has basically said, “Can’t replicate issue. Works fine for me.” Yet 3 different people have mentioned the issue. I’ll shoot you a message via your site.

I was having the same problem until I disabled W3TC. I was then able to save the data and after re-enabling W3TC everything was still there. So if you have W3TC active, disable it and save the date and turn it back on. If not you’re not using W3TC there is more than likely some other plugin conflicting with WP SEO Structured Data Schema. To the developer…Fantastic plugin you got here. Thanks for sharing it.

I’m having the same problem. I’m not using any W3TC.

I did some research and narrowed down the problem. When entering review info, I’m able to put data into all fields and have them save, except for the Review body field. If I put any data into that box and hit save, all fields are blank when I go back to the page.

    Hope that helps.
