Can't save or change anything, or even enable or disable plugins, ?!?!

  • Ok, i’m loving using wordpress, but right now is kinda wordless,…

    Since a few days my total dashboard and admin pages are screwed… i don’t now wat it does right now, or how it started but the only thing i know is that i can’t safe any setting’s from wordpess or any third party plugin, or theme. And it is even impossible to activate or de activate a plugin, using its page.

    if im clicking on the save button, of some settings i recently changed it is showing me some weird wp-settings.php, or at least it’s url cause it does not look like the settings page, Screenshot! click here

    please tell me whats going on and how to fix it, i tried many things like completely reinstalled WordPress, by ftp all its files to the server. but it doesn’t seem to work..

  • Same problem here. I cannot active plugins, answer to comments or mark them as spam.
    I don’t get any error messages. Trying to activate a plugin I even get the message “Plugin was activated”.
    Marking a comment as spam it disappears for a second (as it usually does marked as spam) but comes back after 1-2secs and gets a red background.
    Sending a comment myself just nothing happens
    Eventhough there are new versions of some of my plugins there are no updates shown…

    So, there are some serious issues with WordPress, and none of any WordPress users and developers from over the entire world can give us some information about how to fix it? Thats a drama… if any one knows the golden method to fix it please help!

    on the other hand, if it can’t be fixed you may tell it to ?? than i would just trash the entire website and start again from the beginning, But believe me it costs me many years to create all the stuff… so what a waste of time….

    @rumpel2116, have you got a solution jet?

    It’s working for almost a week again by now. My colleague had installed new plugins and apparently one of them caused the issue. Try to manually uninstall plugins on the server (deactivating might already help) and log in again.
    I’m not sure if we experianced the same problem though…

    Strange… Do you know the name of that plugin?
    Or would you like to ask him for me please. Cause even when I disable all of my installed plugins the issue still exits ??

    I uninstalled the newest version of Akismet (he updated it before) and BackWPup

    Really Askimet, so the basic WordPress plugin is bugging.. Shame on them, But tanks i would try it immediately.. and still no changes..

    Ew, I don’t know if it caused the trouble. As so many people are using it and we seem to be the only once experiencing the issue, chances aren’t quite high.

    Sorry, can’t help you either. No more ideas…
