Can't save new layout on Product Page

  • Hello,
    I try to change the layout of my Product Page, but no matter how hard I press the save button, it doesn’t save my layout.

    Tried Safari and Chrome.

    A known issue, or just me having difficulties again? I have been able to change my layout earlier, but I have had the problem with the page elements moving around if I go into the Product Page tab after saving. (So I have to start from scratch every time, instead of just making a new change to my save layout.)

    Launch time for my new site is getting closer, and I really hope I can get your plugin to work properly soon, it’s the best option for my use, but I struggle a bit too much with it to my liking.

  • The “Save” action should be taking place via AJAX, so there won’t be any visible action, although at times I’ve seen a green ajax bar say saved.

    I’m having the same problem. If I use any of the standard elements, I can save and adjust the layout anytime. HOWEVER, once I insert a custom field….the entire layout dies…..nothing on the page in the layout area…

    When saving the layout, there is no message displayed. Have you made sure to look at the front-end whenever you clicked the button? It should have saved the layout already.

    We are trying to create a new type of layout at the moment because we are experiencing a handful of issues with the custom page layout, including the one mentioned by mdowden. If any of you would have suggestions on how to reimplement the custom page in another way, or simply have an ideal layout to create, let us know.

    Yes, I have checked. ?? I even tried to save in one browser and then refresh and check again in the other browser just to be sure.

    I have just used the standard elements, so …

    I’m afraid I don’t have any suggestions on how to fix this, but I have one wish: that we could save different custom pages. ?? Not sure if that is even possible, but it would be great.
