    After the new wordpress update, I cannot save any gallery, and cannot edit/create text in description section of gallery setup. Sure hope it can be fixed to keep this great plugin.

  • Same problem – very frustrating. Tried with Chrome and Firefox. re-installed latest WordPress and Photo Gallery plugin (also renewed subscription to Pro version), cleared cache and still no resolution

    I’m having the same problem after updating wordpress to 4.8.1. Any solution?

    Me too, I’m experiencing the same issues with this plugin – cannot save new galleries, cannot save any edits on the existing ones… This pretty much makes the plugin useless… And it is a shame because it is a great plugin – when it functions ok. I am eagerly expecting some sort of solution because I tried deactivating and reinstalling the plugin and nothing helped… I see that a lot of people are having the same problems so – please support – give us a solution.

    We are anxiously waiting resolution on this! Getting images of our adoptable cats and dogs up on our site in a timely manner is crucial. I have deactivated all my plug-ins to be sure there were no conflicts. Still won’t save. Please help!

    I managed to resolve downgrade to version 4.7 of wordpress, but I expect a solution to version 4.8.1.

    I sent the support team an email and they claim it should still be working and it’s not a bug. I replied that others are having the same problem and sent the link to this page to show it.

    Dear users,

    Our development team has found the cause of this problem. It is a conflict with JetPack plugin. The team is working to fix the issue, they will release an update soon.

    Meanwhile, please go to *Photo Gallery Options > Global options > General* tab and set *Enable HTML editor* to *No.* This will resolve the issue until the update is ready.

    I’m still experiencing this issue. I have Photo Gallery version 2.3.47, is this the most recent update? I don’t see a way to update it if not, there’s no “update” notification or link.

    Hey, @kwsapphire!

    Since you have the Pro version of Photo Gallery, please make sure to install WD Manager plugin first. You will need to log in to your account of Web-Dorado.com, then navigate to My Account > My Products page. Download WD Manager from here.

    Afterwards, go to Plugins page of your WordPress dashboard and install WD Manager by uploading its package. Activate the plugin when it is uploaded.

    Then go to WD Manager page and click on Plugins sub-menu item. Navigate to Purchased Plugins page and hit Reload. You will see the latest version of the plugin and can install it from this page. Note, that you will not lose any data by following these steps.
