    Hi,
I need to set Stripe availability for different countries, so:

    • I’ve selected countries in the field
    • I’ve clicked “save changes” button, and the “Settings saved” message is showing
    • Now, if I try to go on another page (eg. the dashboard) I got the warning “Changes made may not be saved” and indeed the changes are not saved.

Can you please help me? I need to save those changes…
    Thanks!

    Hi @pizzapie79 ,

Thanks for getting in touch! It looks like something might be preventing your settings from saving properly. To proceed with troubleshooting, first, try clearing your browser cache and saving again. If that doesn’t help, temporarily disabling other plugins could show if there’s a conflict. Give these steps a try and let me know how it goes. We’ll get this sorted!

If clearing the cache and checking for plugin conflicts doesn’t help, it could be useful to check your site’s error logs to see if there are any clues there, you can usually find them within your hosting account’s control panel. Also, ensure that your Stripe extension and WooCommerce are both updated to the latest versions.

If the issue still isn’t solved, kindly send us a video of what your experiencing? You may use https://loom.com or https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/. Please follow the instructions on that page and then paste the URL into this thread.

Looking forward to getting this sorted out.

    Hi there!

To clarify, are you using a third-party plugin to add the country filter at the bottom of the settings? By default, the country filter does not appear, and the Stripe options are available for all countries listed here: Stripe Global.

If you’re using a third-party plugin, it seems that the plugin may be causing this issue. I recommend reaching out to the plugin provider for assistance in resolving the problem.

Additionally, if you’d like to display the Stripe payment method for a specific country, this can be achieved through customization. If you need more in-depth support or want to consider professional assistance for customization, I can recommend?WooExperts?and?Codeable.io?as options for getting professional help. Alternatively, you can also ask your development questions in the??WooCommerce Community Slack?as custom code falls outside our usual?scope of support.

Hi, really thank you for the clarification. I honestly thought that the option to choose the country was native to your plugin, but now that you mention it I’ve discovered that it is instead the WCML plugin, an add-on to WPML plugin.

So I’ll do as you suggest and ask WPML technical support for help.

Really thank you again for your help ??

Ok, just a last note on this matter. I’ve found out this is a known issue and both WPML and Stripe devs are working on it: https://wpml.org/errata/woocommerce-stripe-payment-gateway-country-availability-changes-are-not-saved/

So, I’ll use the code snippet workaroud until the issue will be finally fixed ??

    Hello pizzapie79,

    Thank you for your reply.

I understand you’ve discovered this is a known issue that WPML and Stripe developers are addressing. Appreciate you for sharing the update, and I hope the workaround serves well until a permanent fix is available.

    Have a great day!
