Can’t save, can’t cancel or close in page editor

  • Hi Community,

    My WordPress Version is updated to the newest (4.9.5), but my Avada theme at (5.1.6) and a couple of plugins like toolset layouts/views and duplicator and pop-up (all not updated to latest)…

    Everything works fine but on certain pages where Avada’s fusion buldier is used, I am unable to edit, save or cancel… Everything just hangs… (can’t decide if its fusion builder or formidable’s fault…)

    Does anyone know what I have to do now?
    I’m not ready to update any of the plugins or Avada itself because I’m afraid that will cause my live website to be down….

    From all the forums I’ve read, it seems as if even with the updates, there still might be a conflict of plugins/wordpress itself…

    What we are doing now is cloning these non-editable pages and rebuilding it then putting the original posts as drafts… and publishing the cloned ones.

    Is this the only way to go about this?

    without an actual link to check, this may or may not help.

    While your attempting to fix, you may want to open the inspector when it hangs and see if there is something stopping it. If there is, by removing the offending item, it could let you progress.
