Can′t save and publish

  • Hello,

    I published your theme in my WP site. It was all fine until yesterday, when I couldn′t save or publish the theme anymore. None of my changes have been published today. When I try to switch the theme to another, it works, but when I try to switch back to Customizr doesn′t work again.

    What could be wrong?

  • Suggest you try reinstalling Czr Theme. Did you edit any of the core files? (Hope not, should use a Child Theme).

    Ok. I didn′t edit any core files.
    But if I reinstall the theme, I will lose my configs?

    No, as your configs are all held in the WP database which will not be affected by the Theme reinstall.

    I mean “the theme configs”, like layout setup etc.

    So do I!!

    Best advice is to take a backup before you do it.

    OK, next thing is to Clear Cache. Start with Ctl/F5(PC) – Cmd/F5(Mac) and check on this

    I did it yesterday. I just tried it in three machines. In none of them it worked.

    I have visited your site before and then you are using another theme. At that moment I saw also only three posts. Now with Customizr it has again only three posts.

    What exactly do you mean to publish theme ? I have assumed you are talking about posts. but I am not that sure anymore….

    As rdellconsulting has mentioned. you should better be using a child theme if you are going to customizer your theme.

    If you think it is easier to speak in Portuguese we can do so.

    Oi WPH4,

    O que está acontecendo é que quando eu vou personalizar o tema (sejam altera??es de layout, menus, logo), ao clicar no bot?o “salvar e publicar” ele n?o salva. O bot?o nem altera para “salvo”, como acontece com qualquer tema. Se eu troco de tema, dá pra editar normalmente.

    A quest?o n?o é com publica??o de posts. Apenas com a personaliza??o do tema Customizr.

    Você está usando um child theme como rdellconsulting aconselhou?
    Tem algumas altera??es que s?o perdidas se vc fizer direto no tema.

    Existem duas formas de instalar um tema.
    – automatico via de backend ou
    – via ftp.
    Como vc fez a sua?

    Vc já tentou desativar todos os plugins e ver se o tema funciona? As vezes existe incompatibilidade entre plugin e tema.

    I have asked Daniel if he is using or not a child theme.
    If the reinstallation was made direct or manual (via ftp).
    Also asked him to deactivate all plugins to be sure it is not a conflict between them.

    Desativei o plugin YOAST SEO e deu certo!
    Dá pra alterar o que eu quero e ativar de novo o plugin.

    Apesar de ser meio estranho porque eu tenho o Yoast SEO junto com o Customizr tema sem problemas.
