  • I have a similar problem. I’m running the plug-in on my blog at https://wallingfordwired.com/local/wallingford/ct. I get an “Oops! Page Not Found” error. Not sure I even installed the plug-in correctly, nor could I determine how to apply for an API upgrade to be able to display the Market Reports. I was not sure what to enter in some of the field, such as # of additional API calls. Any help would be appreciated.

I also have the same ‘page not found’ issue.

Has anyone discovered the fix to this? I’m certain I installed the plugin correctly and entered all APIs.

    Thank You,

    Bill

I had the same issue, getting a 404. I figured out how to fix this:

What you need to do is create a page (not a post) and name it “local” (without the quotes).

Then go to dashboard => Permalinks.

Set “Custom Structure” and enter the following into the field exactly as below:
    /%postname%/

    Then click “Save Changes”

If you don’t have a .htaccess file created, you’ll be prompted to create one.

Log into your server via SSH, create your .htaccess file and copy/paste the .htaccess code that was presented to you on the permalink page – afterwards, make sure to chmod your .htaccess file to 777.

Your page withe local details will then show up on the page specified.

If you need further help with this, feel free to contact me through the info in my profile.

dws890 – thanks for the tips. This worked for me and I like the results – https://www.dakotacountyproperties.com/communities/

wow, dws890 that worked. Thank you SO much for your help!!! I could have never figured that out on my own.

Rather than using it in the page, I use the widget in my sidebar and it works great. You can list out cities to you like. I like the widget so that I do not have to dedicate a separate page for my neighborhoods. MyRealInsight.com

dws890 – I tried changing the permalinks but I use a special format, I already have an .htaccess so I didn’t get a code. Can you provide any insight?
