• Hi.

I have uploaded WordPress to the public_html directory of my host (123-reg.co.uk) who are also the registrar of my domain, cooke.eu.
I am fairly sure that I have correctly amended the wp-config.php file.
I have created the database, and have authentication details but am NOT sure that I have created a user, or assigned privileges. It was not clear how to do this in phpmyadmin.
When I direct my browser to https://www.cooke.eu/wp-admin/install.php I am simply directed to my hosts holding page.
1,000 apologies if fixing this should be apparent from other posts, I did search….
Lastly, previous posts indicated that my host was not suitable due to a lack of support for PHP and/or MySQL, I am sure that this is no longer the case.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Your domain is only parked. You need to have the DNS go to your hosting server. Either contact Tucows or your hosting company.

To me, it appears that the domain is in a Parked state or that it’s redirecting incorrectly. I would contact your host to ensure that it’s pointing to the proper location for your files.

Your domain points to them via proper DNS then gets redirected to a starter or parked page…
