• I didn’t have these problems until I updated to the new version of wordpress. I can not edit any images, and I can’t delete any by selecting them and using the drop down menu. When I try to edit an image, it says can not reload preview, please refresh the page and try again. When I try deleting multiple images, I get a permission 403 error.

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress.

Yes. And all my folders and files have the correct permissions. My theme people are looking into it now.

No matter what theme I switch to it’s fine but when I tried everything on my virtual machine it’s fine.

That doesn’t make any sense. Where’s the problem?

I also can’t delete plugins now either. I didn’t have this problem before updating to wordpress 3.3.2 Saturday.

Sorry no matter which theme I switch to it doesn’t work. BUT when I did everything on my virtual machine to test out my theme, it worked perfectly. It’s not working on my actual website

I’m using the latest version of the Compra theme which is made by mintthemes.com

I’m sorry but as you are using a commercial theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s vendors.

Alright I’ll wait to hear back from them and see what they say. Thanks!

now some of my plugins are being deactivated, and i’m not even in the plugins page!

is there anyway that I can reinstall 3.3.2 without losing anything?

Also the company that made my theme got back to me and they’re saying it’s something with the wordpress update.

Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.

ok and that won’t delete any of my stuff? do i unzip a wordpress download and get the files that way?

Nope. All of your content is in your database.

ok i’m uploading all those files now. hopefully this fixes everything.

is there a support number i can call if it doesn’t?
