• I there.
I’m trying to restrict registration to some users who came from an specific url
    goodcoffemaker.com

I tried to add this rule into the firewall > block page like this
    Referrer – *goodcoffeemaker.com

    But users still registrating.

    What I’m doing wrong?
    Thanks a lot!

  • Hey @jaimon82,

This looks correct. Can you please share screenshots of your Custom Pattern settings and samples of the hits from Live Traffic with the Details expanded?

    Please let me know.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

    Hi Gerroald.
    Thanks for your answer.

I attached you teh screenshot of my Custom Pattern (Screenshot 1) and two screnshots of Live Traffic.(Screenshot 2)
The registrations took place the 18th January from this emails.

If I delete those users they inmediatly register again, but I can’t see any Live traffic hits when they do it.

Please, if you need more information, please let me know.
    Thanks a lot again!

    Hi there?
    Gerroald qre you there?
    ??

    Hey @jaimon82,

My apologies for the delayed response.

Do you have any other registrations show in your Live Traffic?

It seems your WordPress standard registration/login pages now return a 404. You may have done this to circumvent the issue you’re experiencing. If not, can you please share your registration page?

Also, can you please create a rule like the one below?

    *goodcoffeemaker.com*

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

    Don’t worry Gerroald.
    Thanks for your answer.

Yes, I’ve a Hide Login Plugin installed to avoid access to /wp-admin
Maybe is this hy I can’t see registrations on my Live Traffic.

Anyway, I deleted those users two days ago and it seems now the rule is working ok (also with others url with spam users) so, maybe the problem is solved by now.

If you don’t mind I would like to keep this ticket open a few days and if everything goes ok, I’ll close it.

    Thanks Gerroald!

    Hey @jaimon82,

Thanks for the update, and that sounds perfect. Please do let me know how it goes.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald

    Hey @jaimon82,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’ve gone ahead and marked this thread as resolved.

Please feel free to open another thread if the rule isn’t helping and you’re still seeing the referred registrations.

    Thanks,

    Gerroald
