Can’t restrict forums

Hello. This is a great plugin! I was able to block the Member’s Area, but am having an issue where I can’t block access to the bbpress forums. I have tried adding a restriction with the following:

General: Who can see this content? Logged In Users > Matching > Admin, Author, Contributor, Editor, Subscriber

Protection: Replace Content > Custom Message + overrided text > Redirect to a different page (chose Membership) > Hide the restricted items

Content Rules: IF Content is a Forum + IF Content is a Forum Archive

Please help!

Nevermind, it is working now, just took a while before it happened. Must have been caching.

@danieliser turns out I do have a little issue still. The following two pages are being blocked successfully.

But the following pages are not:

The forum pages are created by bbpress. I tried blocking forums, topics, and replies with the following content restrictions:

IF Content Is A Forum Archive and
IF Content Is A Forum and
IF Content Is A Topic Archive and
IF Content Is A Topic and
IF Content Is A Reply Archive and
IF Content Is A Selected Page: MMCA Members Forum

Clearing cache did not help. How can I block these pages so no content can be seen? I have the protection set up the same way as the pages that are working, for the content to be replaced with the Membership page.

@blackandbluebird – Its possible that they don’t play by the normal WP rules for checking pages. WooCommerce does the same, for example is_page( 'shop' ) returns false on the shop page and requires special considerations.

I’ll try to test it, but assuming we do need to add custom rules like we do for BuddyPress and WooCommerce, those will end up being added to our Pro version at this time.

I’ll ping you with my findings.
