Can’t resize text area

I want to place a form in my sidebar. I am able to create the form, and put it in the sidebar, however whenever I use a textarea, it will not let me change the size of it.

I am using this code:

[textarea textarea-362 5×10 “Enter Text”]

I can get it to show up, but it will not let me specify the height/width.
