  • The content section you’ve placed the slider within is styled with a max-width of 750px in the theme’s stylesheet, preventing the slider from expanding larger than it currently appears.

    Will you add the following to the bottom of your active theme’s style.css file:

    .page-id-2 article { max-width: 100% !important; }

    Then deactivate the JetPack Photon module which is preventing Soliloquy from loading the images at the dimensions you’ve specified in the slider edit screen’s Config tab.

    Thanks!

    Hi Erica,

    there are a few other things I need help with:

    1. the image on the homepage is blurry, tho I have it at the recommended image size of 1200 x 600 px
    2. I would like to reposition the menu bar on the homepage to the top of the page.
    3. I would like to remove the logo from the homepage, but keep it on all other pages.
    4. remove the space between the bottom of each page & the footer.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    I am still not able to get the images in the slider to be full screen width. They are larger than before, but there is still a margin on the sides of each image. I have resized the images, as well as changed the width dimensions of the slider to 1700 px. Please help.

    Also, is there a way of making the images on the mobile phone version full screen width also?
    Thank you

    Please update the previous CSS provided as follows:

    .soliloquy-container { max-width: none !important; overflow: hidden !important; }
    .soliloquy-container img.soliloquy-image { max-width: none !important; width: 100% !important; height: auto !important; }

    Keep in mind that there will still remain a margin on each side because you’ve placed the slider in a section of your site that is styled to have a margin — you’ll need to reposition the slider or modify your theme to suit your specific needs.

    Thanks!

    Hey Heavenlyimage,

    Is the image being upscaled by WordPress?

    Hi Chris, I dont know if the image is being upscaled by wordpress. How would I check this? I am a complete novice. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!

    Hi,

    The main image on the homepage does not seem to be related to any Soliloquy slider: https://www.heavenlyimage.com.au/

    The blurry image can be due to large screen resolutions where as the original image is smaller than the resulting device where it is viewed. As this is a Fullscreen image layout style coming from the theme, meaning image will always be forced and stretched to maximum screen area.

    – This question is not related to Soliloquy but related to Theme styling.
    – Please post new issues as a separate post / thread in future:

    Thank you

    How do I adjust the size of the slider. It is now the full width of the page and I want it smaller with a text column beside it.
    Thanks
