    Hey!

    I changed my password to my wp account, but I didn’t write down…
    When I want to require a new password the maintanence mode comes up not the password requiry page…

    What to do now?

    Hi @nissan350z, thank-you for reaching out.

    Wordfence doesn’t control your WordPress usernames and passwords, just additional features like 2FA and/or reCAPTCHA. We also don’t offer a maintenance mode, so my suggestion would be to rename your maintenance mode plugin’s folder in /wp-content/plugins/ to “pluginname_bak” if you’re using one. You may need to reach out to their support if that’s an ineffective way of disabling it.

    If you’re not using a plugin for maintenance mode, you may need to contact your host or server administrator to get it disabled so that the password recovery page shows up again publicly.
