Cant replace page sidebar

    I cant change sidebars anymore I have been using the plugin for a month or two it as been working absolutely fine, till a week ago when I noticed my sidebar metabox had disappeared when i was trying to assign a sidebar to a page
    I have tried to put new code in functions php got the metabox back but cant save the side bar to pages…tried a plugin for assigning sidebars not working…re-installed the theme no luck. Am out of options I love the plugin please help…. don’t have much hair left

  • Hey there panash,

    This is most likely related to a theme/plugin conflict, can you remember which was the last thing installed when this started happening?

    If you don’t you can try testing for conflicts by using default WordPress theme like Twenty Fifteen and deactivating all other plugins as displayed in the following flowchart to know which theme/plugin is conflicting if any.

    After loosing so much hair I finally got the solution which was right in front of me all the time…. it was not a plugin conflict had some stuff not checked in the screen options like custom sidebars, sidebar, custom fields and stuff like. Everything is all goodies now hope this hepls someone with the same problem next time…. Jus first check screen options in the upper right corner first before loosing your hair ??
