Can’t rename new page with the same permalink as the deleted one

  • I am trying to create a page at https://www.jawshack.com/hodgepodge . I created a page at this location, then deleted it (and emptied my trash) and then created it again. Don’t ask me why, I was being indecisive ?? but when I created it again, I can preview the page just fine but when published all I get is a “Directory has no index file” message. Is there an easy way to fix this? If I rename the link to https://www.jawshack.com/hodgepodge-2 or something ugly it will work, but that really won’t work, as this will be a promotional page and needs an easy link.
